Development on the former "Pearson Ford" site

The Copley YMCA recently received an offer of land from Price Charities to build a new branch Y. This 3.5 acre property is the site of the old Pearson Ford dealership. The Y has some preliminary design ideas for the site that would incorporate an aquatics complex, an indoor/outdoor soccer arena (smaller than a standard soccer field), child care, a fitness center, multi-purpose room, open green space and parking structure. However, these plans are preliminary and nothing has been submitted to the City yet.

At the April 13, 2011 KTPG meeting, they gave a presentation about their plans for the site. The DRAFT minutes from that meeting include some questions and answers.

The KTPG Project Review subcommittee also discussed the item during their April 27, 2011 subcommittee meeting.
